Curb Recording artist (and Seattle native) Natalie Grant enjoyed a day at the ballpark when she sang the national anthem yesterday in Washington, DC as the Washington Nationals took on the Seattle Mariners. Natalie’s appearance was sponsored by the Ronald Reagan Foundation.
Pictured with Natalie, and Washington’s famous mascot “Screech”, is Republican Congressman Aaron Schock of Illinois, who threw out 1st pitch. Schock is the youngest member of congress at age 30.
The Nationals won for the 11th time in 12 and swept the Seattle Mariners with a 1-0 victory that gave the Nationals a 38-37 record.
